Greek Resorts

Lets begin in Greece, seat of one of the worlds oldest civilisations and home to some exceptionally stunning rugged landscapes. There are fascinating ruins to explore, as well as modern tourist attractions in seemingly every corner. The Kos based Mark Warner beach resorts are Helona and Lakitira. Expect sandy beaches and picturesque decks to relax on beside the pool. The Lemnos beach resort is named after its island location and Levante beach resort is in Rhodes.

Greek cuisine can be enjoyed indoors and out at these resorts and consists of juicy cuts of BBQ meat, feta cheeses, seafood and stuffed vine leaves. Perdepera

The Perpedera beach resort is located on the exquisite Italian island of Sardinia. Steeped in strong, fragrant aromas from the citrus groves, this resort looks out towards the ocean in one direction and backwards towards the mountains in the other. The white sand beaches are fringed by a turquoise sea and there are some very exciting national parks to explore, filled with local wildlife.

Although the island is autonomous, the influence of Italy in the cuisine is obvious. When you choose some of the local fare on offer, youll be enjoying carefully prepared pasta and pizza, as well as choice cuts of meat and seafood. Wild boar is popular here, as are a range of different stews.

San Lucianu

Influenced by its French roots, the San Lucianu beach resort in Corsica is calm, friendly and welcoming. On this island of quiet fishing ports and dreamy vineyards, you can concentrate your sights on the snow-capped peaks, or the sparkling ocean. Its a great destination for keen hikers and mountain bike enthusiasts. Expect Mediterranean dishes that are infused with the local grapes and figs.

Professional coaching in tennis, windsurfing and sailing comes as standard. Scuba is also possible. Keen walkers will enjoy walking the coastal paths and guided mountain bike tours will take you up into the mountains with your own personal guide to get an eyeful of some of the spectacular views you wouldnt otherwise see. Within the resorts themselves, there are also fitness and spa facilities, as well as volleyball, basketball and water polo. Of course, if youd prefer to spend your week unwinding on the shoreline, with a cocktail in your hand, thats also possible!

Adults and kids alike can enjoy the sports tuition. Your little ones will have the opportunity to attend classes aimed at their own age group. If your children arent sporty however, theyll certainly find activities to interest them and keep them busy with the new friends theyll have made.

The childcare provisions at Mark Warner resorts are legendary. Entertainment is provided for little ones from 4 months old to 17 years! In the baby club, British nannies will be on hand to look after your baby, help with his or her development and ensure he or she is fed and napped at appropriate times. You will be assigned a key worker, who will be in charge of your child while youre away. This will provide your young child with consistency and a familiar face.

Toddler club is for 1-2 year olds, Mini club is for 3-5 year olds, Junior club is for 6-9 year olds, Kidz club is for 10-13 year old and teenagers will have their own Indy club with more adult activities. Each club will provide activities, games, sports, competitions and craft projects that are age-appropriate and amusing. Your kids will play in the games room as well as enjoy their own allocated time on the sports facilities.
