    A village set on the shore of the Eid Fjord, with a backdrop of beautiful countryside. The famous Vringsfossen waterfall, one of the highest single-drop waterfalls in Norway, is definitely worth a visit.

    Compact and friendly, Bergen was once a great trading city within the Hanseatic League and is the birthplace of composer Edvard Grieg. It remains Norway’s second city and, despite being sheltered from the sea by its seven hills and outlying islands, is unashamedly nautical in outlook. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen (the old town) and take the Flibanen funicular to the summit of Mount Flyen.

    Flam

    The cruise will pick a path through the narrow fingers of Sognefjord, the worlds largest and deepest fjord, heading for Flam, stunningly set in one of the fjords most remote corners. The world-famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway offers an unforgettable six-mile journey to Myrdal.
