This flexible rail itinerary encompasses the key cities of Eastern Canada and the beautiful wonders and landscapes that surround them.
Included sightseeing during your time in Toronto will be a short tour of the city’s main attractions, including entrance to the CN Tower, and a full day tour to the thundering waterfalls at Niagara Falls, with a thrilling ride on board the Hornblower Niagara Cruises VIP Boat. From Toronto’s Union Station take your first short rail journey on board VIA Rail’s The Corridor service to Canada’s capital city of Ottawa, passing through the historic city of Kingston and by the pretty Thousand Island region en route. To familiarise yourself with the city, a two hour city tour is included. Alternatively, you can visit the Museum of Civilisation. The next train journey takes you past Montréal and along the southern shore of the St Lawrence River travelling through beautiful French-Canadian countryside to Québec City. This is the only city in North America with city walls and gates, earning it a World Heritage Site status by UNESCO in recognition of its wellpreserved historical architecture. A short city tour is included during your stay to highlight the best of what the city has to offer.
