Activities on the shore

Get your adrenaline pumping, for a little extra you can pre-book and join us for some exhilarating rock climbing in the national park (one of the most famous free climbing sites in Europe). There are hundreds of routes for beginner and experienced climbers to choose from and youll get professional instruction from local experts. Its also available to pre-book to ensure your space. Theres also a climbing wall with instruction at the beach club which is included as part of our organised activity programme.

Rest and Relaxation

The spa here is the real deal with indoor hydro-massage whirlpool, resistance swimming pool with waterfall, hot tubs, steam bath and three types of sauna. There are a number of treatment rooms, including one designed especially for couples. The rooms are peaceful and beautifully designed you wont want to leave.

Food and Drink

Its club board consisting of daily breakfast, daily lunch and four evening meals is included each week at Alana Beachclub, brought to you by the local team of chefs. Tables are set on an alfresco terrace amongst fragrant pine trees and close to the waters edge.

Rooms

You have a great choice of rooms in three different areas of the beach club. The central tower has rooms over nine floors; the views from the upper floors are hard to beat. There are more rooms on either side of the pool, many with sea views. These are split over three floors, the majority of which look out across the gardens.

Choose from twin, double, family rooms and apartments with one or two bedrooms plus a lounge area. There are also five two-bedroom cabins with large sea-facing wooden verandas. Step onto your private veranda and youre just a stone’s throw from the beach, ideal if you love to wake up to the sound of waves breaking.
All rooms have air-conditioning, a mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a telephone, TV, Wi-Fi, safety deposit box, beach towels, and a hairdryer.

For Families

There are lots for families with Neilson run kids clubs available for four months 17-year-olds, a dedicated pool for the little ones, a kiddie play area, mini-golf, lots of wide-open spaces and warm, shallow water.

The local town is also very family-friendly. We can also provide cots, baby baths, buggies and a 24-hour baby room for those with smaller children.

The Local Area

Take a stroll from the beach club along the seafront promenade to the local village of Starigrad. Its relaxed and easy-going, with a handful of restaurants, overlooking the water.

Zadar

Slightly further away, the beautiful, walled port of Zadar is a thirty-minute drive away and well worth a visit. Take a walk around the historic centre, where Roman ruins stand alongside Venetian inspired churches.
