Itinerary

Day 1 UK – Calgary – Banff

Titans VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight to Calgary. On arrival well transfer to Banff, the largest town in the parks, set in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

 

Day 2 Banff – Lake Louise

Well tour the surrounding area of Banff and its beautiful lakes this morning. One of Canadas most famous is Lake Louise and well have time to admire its captivating turquoise waters and mountainous backdrop. Therell also be a chance to take an optional gondola ride, or unwind at the historic Chateau Lake Louise, a luxury hotel dating back to 1911.

This evening youre free to dine in one of the many restaurants on offer in this delightful alpine location.

Day 3 Columbia Icefield – Jasper

Today we head northwards through the Rockies to Jasper, with some fantastic scenery and possible wildlife sightings along the way.

We stop at the Columbia Icefield and take an unforgettable Ice Explorer ride onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier (subject to favourable weather conditions). An experienced guide will share a wealth of fascinating information about glaciers, icefields and their impact on our environment. Youll also have the opportunity to safely step out onto the glacier and stand on this powerful ancient ice.

Day 4 Jasper

We set off on an unforgettable sightseeing journey, beginning with the limestone gorge of magical Maligne Canyon and continues along the shore of Medicine Lake and the rushing Maligne River. Have your camera at the ready for one of the most photographed spots in the world, the magnificent Maligne Lake, renowned for its stunning azure water.

Well enjoy dinner tonight at the hotel, with an interpretative talk.

Day 5 Rocky Mountaineer (Jasper – Quesnel)

Our Rocky Mountaineer journey begins early this morning as we board our train on the Rainforest to Gold Rush route. Well pass by magnificent Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 12,972ft, and then enter the Rocky Mountain Trench, where the Rocky Mountains rise steeply to the north and the Cariboo Mountains soar to the south.

We continue west through the forests of northern British Columbia and arrive into Quesnel this evening, for an overnight hotel stay.

 

Day 6 Rocky Mountaineer (Quesnel – Whistler)

An early start this morning, as we re-board Rocky Mountaineer to enjoy some of the most breathtaking and varied scenery found anywhere in the world. As we leave Quesnel, we travel through the vast rangelands of the Cariboo Plateau and the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon before passing the stunning lakeshores of Seton and Anderson Lakes. Our destination is the delightful mountain resort of Whistler.

 

Day 7 Rocky Mountaineer (Whistler – Vancouver)

Youll have the morning to explore charming Whistler. There are some lovely walking trails or you can explore the pretty village itself, with art centres, museums, and an abundance of shops, restaurants and cafs.

This afternoon, well board Rocky Mountaineer for our final leg and another memorable journey through the stunning scenery of the Sea to Sky Corridor. After your busy morning, sit back and relax while you take in breathtaking views of the Cheakamus Canyon, the dome peak of Mount Garibaldi, Brandywine Falls, Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains. We transfer to our hotel on arrival.

 

Day 8 Vancouver

Lapped by the Pacific Ocean on one side, and overlooked by mountains on the other, Vancouver is nestled in one of the most dramatic locations you can think of – and we waste no time in getting to know this bustling city on a guided tour this morning.

Well visit some of Vancouvers most notable sights, including bustling Chinatown and Gastown, the oldest part of the city with picture-perfect heritage buildings. In the afternoon, you may like to visit Granville Island with its colourful markets.

Day 9 Vancouver

A further day to explore Vancouver or take an optional trip to Vancouver Island by ferry and visit tranquil Butchart Gardens with its beautiful display of lush green trees and delightful array of colourful flowers.

 

Day 10 Vancouver – In flight

Theres free time before we transfer to the airport for our return flight to the UK.
