Day 1: Toronto

Welcome to eastern Canada.
Your wonderful journey begins with a two night stay at the Fairmont Royal York. This stunning hotel has welcomed royals, presidents and dignitaries alike, and today it will welcome you too.

Day 2: Niagara Falls > Toronto

Head to stunning Niagara Falls and feel the mist of the falls as you cruise to its base. Later, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the city and Lake Ontario from your restaurant in the CN Tower, where you’ll enjoy a welcome dinner. If you’re not afraid of heights, step out onto the glass floor of the outdoor observation area.

Day 3: Toronto > Ottawa

Straddling the Rideau Canal, Canada’s capital city Ottawa is nothing if not elegant. Your experience will be even more elegant than most, with a two night stay in the Fairmont Château Laurier, just steps away from Parliament Hill.

Day 4: Ottawa

Discover the charm of Canada’s capital on a guided tour. Nowhere is Canada’s bilingual culture more evident than in Ottawa as the Rivière des Outaouais, which marks the border between the provinces of Ontario and French speaking Québec.

Day 5: Ottawa > Montebello

Day 6: Montebello > Qubec City

Learn how maple syrup is made and dine on traditional Québécois fare at a local Sugar Shack while listening to live, local music.

Day 7: Qubec City

Tour by helicopter, on foot or by horse and carriage. Alternatively, sample local delicacies or indulge in a massage. Today, it’s up to you.

Day 8: Qubec City > Montral

Visit the exquisite Notre-Dame Basilica, with its imposing Gothic Revival architecture. Stay at Le Westin Montréal and enjoy a sumptuous dinner.

Day 9: Montral > Victoria

Fly to Victoria for an exclusive two night Special Stay at the Fairmont Empress. Celebrate tonight with a ‘Welcome to Western Canada’ dinner. Flight is not included in land only tour price, please book your flight to arrive prior to 5pm.

Day 10: Victoria > Butchart Gardens

Meander through the beautiful and diverse Butchart Gardens. If you rub Tacca, the Florentine bronze boar’s nose, it is said to bring you lots of luck.

A ferry takes you across Georgia Strait then a stop at Shannon Falls before arriving in the charming ski village of Whistler.

Day 12: Whistler

Dine, discover and delight as First Nation’s ambassadors treat you to a unique cultural experience at Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre.

Day 13: Whistler > Sun Peaks

Discover how life was lived by the voyageurs, pioneers, fur traders and early settlers centuries ago as they battled to establish settlements along Canada’s trading route during an exclusive presentation at your hotel.

Day 14: Sun Peaks > Jasper

Travel via Mount Robson, the highest peak in North America’s Rocky Mountain Range, en route to Jasper. Be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife such as bears, elk or caribou.

Day 15: Jasper

Cruise on a Harley Davidson™ sidecar or by boat to Spirit Island on Maligne Lake, canoe on Pyramid Lake or raft down the Athabasca River. Or you may wish to ascend 2,500 metres on the Jasper SkyTram, take the local’s choice hike or explore Maligne Canyon and Jasper’s lakes.

Day 16: Icefields Parkway > Lake Louise

Travel south along the acclaimed Icefields Parkway. Take an ‘Ice Explorer’ on the 6 kilometre long Athabasca Glacier and walk the Glacier Skywalk to truly appreciate nature’s beauty. Reach the stunning natural wonder of Lake Louise and the opulent Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, where your Special Stay for the next two nights is in a stunning Lakeview room.

Day 17: Lake Louise

For the eager and early riser or the budding photographer, set a sun rise wake-up call so you don’t miss the stunning colour changes painted across the mountain, lake and glacier outside your window.

Day 19: Banff

Take a helicopter flight over the Three Sisters Peaks, a Bow River float trip, rejuvenate in relaxing mineral pools or play nine holes of golf. A steaming cup of soup or even hot chocolate will keep you warm as you are mesmerised by the dramatic ice walls of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. A National Park Service Ranger will interpret the natural wonders and wildlife you may see.

Day 28: Ketchikan

Alaska’s last port of call is Ketchikan, known as the ‘salmon capital of the world’.

Day 30: Vancouver
