Mark Warner Ski weeks
Mark Warner Holidays is now offering three types of specialist ski weeks in France to help adults learn the basics of skiing with like-minded beginners, help intermediate skiers reach the next level with confidence and a week-long masterclass in off-piste skiing.
Your ski week will be part of an all-inclusive package in a top French ski resort, where you’ll be provided with everything you need to spend an exciting and rewarding week on the slopes. Your travel transfers, meals and accommodation will all be provided, as will the intensive tuition you’ll receive.
Beginner adult skiing weeks
We can appreciate that if you didn’t first trying skiing as a child, there’s a chance that the prospect of joining a beginners skiing class along with a group of young people, who are also trying it for the first time, may be less than appealing. Mark Warners beginners adult ski weeks will give you the chance to learn the basics in the company of like-minded adults; make mistakes together, laugh together and improve together.
The weeks will take place at the La Plagne resort, with one in January and one in March. Your week will include 5 days of ski school, with lessons in the morning, lift passes and equipment hire. Your accommodation will be at the Chalet-Hotel Christina.
Instructor-led ski weeks
Mark Warner offers instructor-led ski weeks in four different French ski resorts; La Plagne, Meribel, Val D’Isere and Tignes, with a choice of accommodation in each. These are ideal if you’re already a competent, confident skier and you simple want an enhanced ski holiday during which you’ll learn new tips and find new blue and red runs.
Off-piste skiing weeks
Henry Schniewind is a renowned off-piste ski expert, who knows all there is to know about the slopes of Tignes and Val D’Isere. During an off-piste week, Henry will help you find exciting off-piste runs and give you tips on how to become better accomplished at back-country skiing.
This course is for extremely competent and ideally, experienced, off-piste skiers. Included in your package will be snow and avalanche talks, expert training and the chance to gain certification in off-piste excellence.
Additionally, you can also book hosted skiing weeks, which take place in the Italian resort of Courmayeur, where you’ll be staying in the Chalet Hotel Cristallo. The hosts will help you find the best snow spots, views and restaurants, not to mention discover how to get up the mountain quickest, where the shortest queues can be found. However, please bear in mind that the hosts are not instructors. Ski tuition should be booked separately.
