Day 1
UK to Amsterdam

Fly to Amsterdam, where you embark Filia Rheni II.

Day 2
Amsterdam

Admire Amsterdam’s canals and see the house where Anne Frank hid during an optional tour. Sail for Cologne this afternoon.

Day 3
Cologne

Enjoy the afternoon and evening here at leisure.

Day 4
Koblenz to Rüdesheim

Spend the morning in Koblenz before sailing through the scenic Rhine Valley. Early this evening you’ll arrive in the old wine town of Rüdesheim, where an optional excursion visits Siegfried’s Music Museum.

Day 5
Miltenberg

Explore Miltenberg’s old town and 13th-century castle this afternoon before setting sail again this evening.

Day 6
Würzburg

Spend the afternoon in Würzburg, where an optional guided tour visits the Residenz Palace. Continue on through the night towards Bamberg.

Day 7
Bamberg

Arrive in Bamberg after lunch. UNESCO-listed Bamberg is characterised by quaint streets of old buildings. Take in the town’s medieval treasures on an optional tour. Set sail again during dinner.

Day 8
Nuremberg

Moor in Nuremberg for the day and see the city highlights on an included excursion. Cruise through the night.

Day 9
Kelheim to Regensburg

Pause briefly in Kelheim this morning where you might like to join an optional trip to Weltenburg Abbey, said to have the oldest monastery brewery in the world. Alternatively, you may wish to stay on board and cruise to medieval Regensburg, arriving this afternoon. You can explore the city’s 2,000-year history and see its great Gothic cathedral. Set sail again this evening, cruising through the night towards Passau.

Passau

Arrive this morning in Passau and explore its cobbled streets, or join an optional excursion to Salzburg. You have an entire day in the city before sailing on through the night.

Day 11
Melk to Dürnstein

Spend the morning in Melk, famous for its baroque abbey; perhaps join an optional excursion of this beautiful building. This afternoon cruise through the Wachau Valley to Dürnstein. You might enjoy sampling local wines at a nearby vineyard. Set sail again later tonight.

Day 12
Vienna

Arrive in the early hours and enjoy a full day in Vienna. An included tour reveals the highlights. Set sail for Bratislava later tonight.

Day 13
Bratislava

Arrive in the early hours and stroll the cobbled streets of Bratislava’s Old Town to Bratislava Castle. Perhaps join an optional guided tour of the city this morning. Set sail at lunchtime and cruise towards your final port of call.

Budapest

You have a full day in Budapest. An included excursion shows you the capital’s highlights which include the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Buda Castle.
