Day 1
Arusha
Arrive at any time.
Day 2
Arusha NP
Head into Arusha NP and explore Momella Lake by canoe. Spot wildlife on the waters edge as they come to drink.
Day 3
ArushaMto wa Mbu
Travel to Mto wa Mbu village and take part in a cultural walk to learn about village life in the area. Meet the women who run the village tours and enjoy a delicious home made traditional lunch. In the afternoon experience local cultures and wildlife from your bike on a ride through the farming village of Mto Wa Mbu, and onto the shore of Lake Manyara, where there are stunning views of the lake, the Rift Valley escarpment, and resident wildlife. The ride is on fairly flat single tracks.
Day 4
Empakaai Crater
Ascend the rift valley escarpment into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and get ready for a beautiful hike into the extinct Empakaai Crater. At the end of the day, enjoy the view from the campsite over Ngorongoro.
Day 5
NgorongoroSerengeti National Park
Enter the Serengeti NP and spend the day on a wildlife safari drive in search of the big five, while taking in the vastness of the Serengeti plains.
Day 6
Serengeti National ParkNgorongoro
Opt for a balloon safari in the morning, or continue on with another wildlife safari drive. The rest of the day will be spent in the Serengeti, finishing the day with sunset on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 7
NgorongoroLake Manyara
Head out early for a wildlife safari drive in the Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 8
Mto wa MbuArusha
Visit the G Adventures supported Clean Cookstove Project, then return to Arusha for the night.
Day 9
ArushaStone Town
Fly to the beautiful island of Zanzibar and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy an orientation walk with your CEO in historic Stone Town, and opt to continue on for a longer walking tour, or explore on your own.
Day 10
Zanzibar Beach Resort
Visit a local spice plantation for a guided tour. Continue to the white-sand beaches and turquoise waters of Zanzibar’s beautiful coast.
Day 11
Zanzibar Beach Resort
Enjoy free time to lounge on the beach, snorkel, or tour the island.

Morning group transfer from the beach. Depart Stone Town upon arrival in the late morning.
