Chester Christmas

Overview

Spend Christmas in one of the UKs most interesting historic cities, imagining festivities in years gone by. Amble along the medieval black and white rows, picking up any last-minute gifts, or walk the fantastically preserved Roman city walls, learning of their foundations in AD 70. On Christmas Day, we relax and indulge in a leisurely lunch at our hotel, and on Boxing Day, we pop over the border to Wales, exploring the colourful seaside village of Portmeirion.
