Known for the high quality of their resorts, when Club Med announced they would also be providing a full cruising itinerary on board their brand-new, state of the art cruising ship, the Club Med 2, there was an air of huge anticipation. They didnt disappoint! The Club Med 2 is the biggest luxury sailing ship in the travel industry and extra attention has been paid to the little details that turn a great cruise holiday into an exceptional one.

It has 184 cabins spread over 8 levels and facilities designed to provide comfort and entertainment. On board chefs will provide you with a wide choice of fresh and delicious cuisine and youll have the opportunity to do water sports and fitness classes during your journey. Obviously the schedule of destinations youll visit during your cruise is of the upmost importance. Please be assured, the Club Med 2 offers a variety of exciting cruising schedules.

Bars

The Pacific Bar is where youll meet the captain during your welcome drinks and is very family friendly. The Venise has a romantic, intimate feel and is a great place to sit with your cocktail while the sun goes down. Another family friendly bar is The Albatross, which is stylish, comfortable and friendly.

Restaurant

For breakfast and lunch, the place to be is The Mditerrane, where you can help yourself to food laid out in a buffet style. Theres also an evening, waiter service menu, where you can enjoy a delicious meal with loved ones. The Magellan is also waiter service and provides a wide range of international and locally influenced dishes.

Rooms

Choose from the spacious, superior cabins with their contemporary design, or the deluxe rooms, which will give you more space due to an additional living area, not to mention an extra porthole. The suites, however, are a whopping 36 m with four portholes and an elegant, roomy living area, as well as your bedroom.

Leisure activities

There is a fully equipped, cutting-edge gym, which offers fitness machines for individual workouts and classes, so you could take a yoga, dance or pilates class with a trained instructor during your cruise. Youll also be offered water sports as part of your package; such as water skiing, wake boarding, windsurfing and sailing. Equipment and tuition will be provided. It will cater to your level of expertise.

To relax and unwind you can always soak up the sun on the deck, or book yourself in for a treatment at the wellness centre. In the evening there will be plenty to entertain you once youve finished your evening meal. The on-board theatre offers a variety of shows, dances and creative performances.

Business events and meetings can be arranged on board the Club Med 2. Corporate facilities are available.
