This Canada and New England tour is grand by name and grand by nature – youll tick off national and state parks, culture-filled cities, harbour towns and classic coastal resorts as you sweep from Boston to New York. Youll journey through scenic New England, before crossing into Canada to explore Qubec City, Montral, Ottawa and Toronto. Itinerary

Day 1 – UK – Boston

Titans VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight to Boston. On arrival, transfer to your hotel, and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring the fashionable district of Back Bay.

Day 2 – Boston

A guided tour takes us to Bostons historic sites and important neighbourhoods. Explore Back Bay, Copley Square and Beacon Hill; and travel along the Freedom Trail to discover the monuments that shaped the American Revolution, including the rebellious Boston Tea Party which roused the colonies into action. We also see the house of Paul Revere, who alerted the start of the Revolution in 1775; and visit the Old North Church where lanterns were lit on Reveres signal, igniting the Revolution. This afternoon is free to explore further.

Day 3 – Ogunquit – Portland – Bethel

Depart the city of Boston for the Maine coast, where we walk the Marginal Way – a mile-long, paved path from Ogunquit to Perkins Cove – home to seafood restaurants, lobster shacks and quaint shops. We then continue to the historic seacoast town of Portland for time to explore, before heading inland to Bethel.

Day 4 – White Mountains

Today we wind through the spectacular White Mountains. We stop at Cannon Mountain to take the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway for incredible views of the surrounding scenery. Well continue to North Conway, home to nearly 100 stores, fine art galleries and factory outlets. We return to our hotel via the Kancamagus Highway, regarded as one of the most scenic byways in New England.

Day 5 – Bethel – Bar Harbor

We travel through Maine with a late afternoon arrival at the coastal town of Bar Harbor.

Day 6 – Acadia National Park

We spend our morning discovering one of Americas oldest and most beautiful national parks. Acadia National Park covers much of Mount Desert Island and is the first spot that sunlight hits America each morning. We travel along the Loop Road to view Frenchman Bay Overlook, Sand Beach, Jordan Pond House, and Mount Cadillac – the tallest mountain on the Atlantic coast. The stunning, rugged and forested landscape is home to an abundance of plant life and wildlife including the moose, bear, raccoon, bald eagle and peregrine falcon. We return to picturesque Bar Harbor for the rest of the day.

Day 7 – Qubec City

An early start today as we head across the Canadian border to Qubec City, where well stay for two nights.

Day 8 – Qubec City

We enjoy a morning tour of Qubec City, where the perfectly preserved, fortified Old Town offers plenty to see. Admire the English and French-style houses, soaring church spires, the beautiful Place Royale, and the luxury Chteau Frontenac. The afternoon is free to explore at your own pace.

Day 9 – Montral

We head to Montral for a sightseeing tour including Old Montral and Mount Royal Park, the citys highest point with fantastic views. Starting as a mission colony of just 50 settlers, it has grown into a prominent city with three million citizens and a multitude of cultures; however the French roots and British influences still shine through as you explore this fascinating metropolis.

Day 10 – Ottawa – Toronto

We depart for Ottawa to take a short orientation tour of the vibrant capital, home to some of the worlds most impressive parliament buildings. Later, we travel along the 1,000 Islands Parkway, following the shores of Lake Ontario, to the city of Toronto.

Day 11 – Toronto

A local guide takes us on a morning orientation tour of Toronto. The city has a fine mix of museums and architecture that shows some of the many cultures that have shaped it – with more than 140 languages spoken by a population of about 2.8 million people, it has grown quickly in the last 225 years and is considered one of the worlds most liveable urban places. Amongst the gleaming skyscrapers is the 553m-high CN Tower – and there is an optional excursion to ascend this great landmark for the 100-mile view.

Day 12 – Niagara Falls – Syracuse

Spend this morning at the mighty Niagara Falls – take a walk along the banks and experience the incredible sound of 750,000 gallons of water pouring over Horseshoe Falls. Optional excursions allow you to enjoy this phenomenal attraction from a boat, a small plane or helicopter. This afternoon we head back across the US border and on to the city of Syracuse.

Day 13 – New York

Our journey continues through New York State to New York City. This evening you have the chance to take in the atmosphere of New York at night with an optional excursion in Greenwich Village and a tour of Manhattan Island, including the lights of Times Square.

Day 14 – New York

Our morning tour takes in iconic sights such as Central Park, Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square, Fifth Avenue, Broadway, St Patricks Cathedral, Chinatown and the Financial District, concluding at the poignant National 9/11 Memorial & Museum. The rest of the day is free to do as you please – perhaps take a ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, or a helicopter over Manhattan.

Day 15 – New York – In flight

Time to explore further or take an optional tour of Harlem. Later, we transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
