Overview

Experience the highlights of the Emerald Isle, beginning and ending in its capital cities. Starting in Belfast, well visit the Titanic exhibition and explore the incredible Giants Causeway – 40,000 basalt columns built by a giant, according to legend. Crossing into Ireland, well see spectacular scenery as we encounter the Cliffs of Moher and drive the celebrated Ring of Kerry peninsula road. Well finish in Dublin, viewing the Book of Kells at Trinity College and perhaps sampling a Guinness or two.

Itinerary

Day 1 Belfast

Titans VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight to Belfast. On arrival we transfer to our hotel.

Day 2 Carrickfergus – Causeway Coastal Route

This morning, we depart on the Causeway Coastal Route – alongside the glens of Antrim. The first stop is Carrickfergus Castle, one of Northern Irelands most striking medieval monuments. We continue to the UNESCO-listed Giants Causeway. This geological feat is an unforgettable force of nature; or maybe youll choose to believe the myth that this was the handiwork of a local ogre!

Day 3 Titanic Exhibition – Enniskillen – Athlone

Well depart for our excursion to the Titanic Belfast Exhibition, to learn the story of the Titanic, from its construction to the infamous maiden voyage.

Journeying south, well stop at Enniskillen for a cruise on Lough Erne, home to 160 wooded islands, dotted within hundreds of miles of fresh water. We continue on to Athlone.

Day 4 Cliffs of Moher – Cork

Well travel around Liscannor Bay and encounter the rugged Cliffs of Moher rising some 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean. This naturally impressive scenery is worth a small diversion as we make our way to Cork.

Day 5 Muckross House – Ring of Kerry

Well leave early for Killarney National Park, where Irelands highest mountains sweep down to lake shores. Well visit the delightful Victorian Muckross House for a guided tour, then continue on the Ring of Kerry – a 179km route of raw natural beauty and spectacular scenery.

Day 6 Waterford – Dublin

This morning we depart Cork for Irelands oldest city, Waterford, home to the famous crystal glass. We take a look at the Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre to learn of its time-honoured trade, before making our way to Powerscourt House and Gardens. One of the worlds favourite mansions, its surrounded by 47 acres of equally impressive gardens, and parkland that boasts Irelands highest waterfall. We continue to Dublin, where well spend the next two nights.

Day 7 Dublin

Today we introduce you to the Republic of Irelands capital city. Well visit EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum and then the countrys largest cathedral, St Patricks, in the heart of Dublin.

Well also stop at Trinity College, proceeding through the grounds of this hallowed educational site to its famous library to view the lavishly decorated Book of Kells.

This evening youre free to choose where to dine, so why not enjoy one of the many restaurants in Temple Bar and take in the atmosphere of this lively city.

Day 8 Dublin – UK

We transfer to the airport for your return flight home. Upon arrival your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
